Join Brenda Colfer and Kim Nixon as they merge the powerful practices of Yin Yoga and Lifebreath to lead you on a deep journey into yourSELF. The journey inward begins with a gentle, guided Yin Yoga practice with Kim, moving through the chakras, followed by the deep practice of LifeBreath with Brenda. Brenda will be playing a variety of sound healing instruments during the Yin Yoga sequence to further enhance and support your experience. Both Brenda and Kim will assist and support you during your breath process with therapeutic touch and energy work. Essential oils will be used.
YIN YOGA is a quiet, meditative practice that works on all levels of the being. In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access the deep layers of connective tissue. Physically, Yin Yoga helps us to open our bodies and to restore and maintain range of motion in the joints. Energetically, it opens the body's meridian system, enhancing the energetic flow. Through its emphasis on stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation. (No previous yoga experience is required. Beneficial for all body types, including those with joint issues. Modifications are always offered.)

The dynamic breathing style of Lifebreath is an amazing way to help reduce stress and re-energize the body. “It's a way to use our breath to enter safely into a realm of higher consciousness… while being protected and nurtured at the same time!" (Mary) In Brenda’s Lifebreath sessions, transformation and a deep sense of “self” is created through the process of deep breathing, affirmations, music, sound healing, and Reiki.
